What is the difference between an AI provider and an AI model?
An provider is the company or organization that creates and maintains an AI model such as Meta, Google or OpenAI.
An AI model, or artificial intelligence model, is a computer program designed to learn from large datasets and identify patterns, allowing it to make predictions or decisions on new data without explicit programming, essentially mimicking human intelligence to perform specific tasks based on the information it has been trained on.
Some providers create and maintain multiple models.
