AI Slop refers to the actual material being produced. It is the massive influx of low-quality, generic, and unvetted AI-generated content — including text, images, and video — that is flooding the internet.

Defining AI Stink

AI Stink (or AI smell) is the reputational consequence of AI slop. It refers to the distrust, lack of authenticity, and diminished brand value that occurs when an audience recognizes content as being AI-generated.

AI stink is a psychological and brand-related problem:
